Latest Update from organsiing team ( 8th Jan): “We are still ON at the moment but please make sure everyone is aware that a final decision will be made on Saturday. We will email if the event is cancelled. Natural England and Torridge District Council have 'officially' flagged up the potential for seriously adverse weather conditions over the weekend - they are ultra cautious!! Current Met Office forecast for Sunday is light rain and a fresh breeze - normal conditions for Northam Burrows - so I am confident we can go ahead! However, given the distances many folk undertake for this fixture I don't want anyone to set out only to find on arrival that the event has been cancelled. Overnight Thursday and Friday is likely to be very wet and windy so; as a precautionary measure; I will check conditions on Saturday afternoon and make a final decision by 4pm on Saturday; posting on the League website and social media by 6pm.”
